Embrace Studios is a Belfast visual arts collective whose artists explore political, social, gender or cultural inequality issues. The studios are a catalyst for the creation of experimental and innovative contemporary visual-arts. Embrace studio artists are dedicated to exploring and giving voice to the uniqueness of the individual, locations, and communities in which they investigate.
Embrace artists are at different stages of their career and work in various mediums including painting, sculpture, drawing, photography, performance and installation art. They collaborate through public art interventions, are involved in socially engaged arts-led regeneration, as well as exhibiting locally, nationally and internationally.
Embrace studio artist’s work individually, however, are open to supporting and partnering in art projects that fit with the ethos of their practice.
Embrace Studios is located on the 2nd floor of the Blackstaff Mill on Springfield Road. It is only 5 mins from Belfast City Centre and has free car parking facilities for visitors to the studio. Alternatively a no. 80 Translink Metro bus service operates from Castle Street approx. every 20mins.
